If you’re a fleet operator or driver who’s considered making the switch to domestic clean fuel but don’t know where to start, this week’s Third Thursday webinar from PERC is for you. Join experts from Alliance AutoGas and the Southeast Propane Autogas Development Program as they share details on real fleets that are saving money and reducing emissions by running on propane autogas.
The September 20 webinar features Mark Denton of Alliance AutoGas, Jamison Walker of Virginia Clean Cities (which administers SPADP), and Captain Bart Humble of the Sandy Springs Police Department, which is converting more than 65 fleet vehicles to autogas.
Denton will discuss the key components of a successful autogas program, while Walker will share recent case studies from fleets that transitioned to propane autogas through the Program, with conversions and fueling from Alliance AutoGas.
Captain Bart Humble with the Sandy Springs Police Department will also talk about his experience switching his fleet to propane autogas and working with the Alliance AutoGas team. The Sandy Springs fleet is switching a total of 65 cruisers to autogas under the Program, and they just recently announced the purchase of 14 additional vehicles that will run on propane.
