An alternative fuel roadshow and educational tour will kick off September 18 in Delray Beach, Fla. The event will showcase vehicles powered by propane autogas, compressed natural gas, electricity and biofuels.

The state of California cut 7,100 vehicles from its fleet.

Gulf Oil added 24 LNG transport trucks to its fleet. According to a press release, the company “will soon be supplying and distributing LNG as a cost-effective, clean alternative fuel to customers in the transportation sector and other interested bulk users. Gulf’s move into the LNG marketplace is part of the company’s ongoing strategy to diversify its energy offerings and provide the marketplace with a fuel alternative that is cheaper, cleaner, and domestic.”
