Alliance AutoGas is being presented with the Good Practices Award in recognition the network’s outstanding achievement to promote good propane industry practices. Propane autogas safety/fueling training in Villa Rica, GA

But, what does that look like? These are images of an Alliance AutoGas training session in the City of Villa Rica, Georgia, which recently converted 11 police patrol cars to autogas. In these photos, an Alliance representative is walking employees through safe, effective autogas refueling–right at their on-site fuel station. Autogas fueling is just as easy as filling up a vehicle with gasoline and takes about the same amount of time.

Fleets that convert vehicles to run on autogas through Alliance AutoGas receive operational and safety training for drivers, technicians and other personnel, as well as autogas fueling training and any necessary maintenance training. Alliance certified conversion technicians can even train a fleet’s mechanical team to perform in-house conversions, so they can continue converting fleet vehicles to autogas in the future. Visit the Alliance AutoGas website for more information on safety training and support for fleets.

Switching to affordable, American-made alternative fuel should be a simple and safe process for fleets. Built-in safety and operational training for vehicle operators ensures fleet managers can feel confident sending their drivers on the road in these advanced technology vehicles.
